LONDYN

One of the most incredible gifts God has ever given to me is my precious Londyn. I find it an absolute privilege that God has entrusted us to care for and raise such a jewel. She is so precious! Sure, I’m her mom, but she really is. I remember seeing her for the first time, her chubby little cheeks and beautiful dark skin and instantly loving her. The more I see her grow, the more and more I love her.

She has lost those chubby little cheeks but she is turning into such a beautiful girl, and she still has her beautiful dark skin. Her smile melts my heart. She is growing way too fast for me, but at the same time, it is a joy to see her grow. I’ve really been noticing lately what a heart of gold she has. She hates to see people hurt and animals suffer. It brings her to tears at times. I pray she never loses this. She is very tender and kindhearted.

I want her to know that the beauty God has given her comes from the inside out. That the inside is always what matters most. At the same time, I love the fact that she is thrilled to dress up, paint nails, do her hair and even on days we are home, put on make up. All things that most girls enjoy. I love to watch her run to her Daddy and twirl, asking him if he thinks she is beautiful. Mario always has the right answer.

Londyn loves learning. She is curious and full of questions much like her Daddy. There have been many times I have been amazed by what she thinks about, especially for a five year old. She is a sponge. I pray that God would guard her mind from the dangers that are out there. I also pray that she will always have a desire to learn, that she will continue to ask questions and know what truth is for herself.

I want her to know how much she is loved, that Daddy and Mommy love her so very much. I want her to know that God’s love for her is the greatest. That He created her in His image and has great plans for her. Whatever God has for her, she can do it and be herself.

I love you Londy!

  1. It is amazing the gift children are to us isn't it. You and Mario are wonderful parents and I have no doubt, not only will she grow in faith, but in beauty and grace that only comes from the Lord.

    Good job Mom!!!
